Yet Another search for S2000 Wheels
If your looking at those cheaper wheels I don't think it has anything to do with being picky lol.
2 options really. Roll fenders and get some nicer wheels or find ones on tirerack made to fit the stock s2000.

Look in the gallery for wheels. Tons of "official wheel threads" Volk, Work, Enkei, Advan etc all make lots of type of wheels. For most of the quality wheels you will have to do a fender roll to fit without rubbing.
If you want that D1R get them in 17x9 +43 all around. Roll the fenders, relocate the rear bumper tabs and run a little negative camber which is good anyways. Should fit fine then with no rubbing. I have that size wheels with 225/45 front and 255/40 in the rear.
17" wheels.

what do you think of the TSW Nurburgring. it comes in different finishes but doesnt have a lip which i think may be the only downside. but it comes in a variety of offsets so i think i might be able 2 squeeze an 18 with little or no modification

i dont want 9 inch wheels in the front id either run 7 or 8 in the front and 9 in the rear
Not a fan of the TSW wheels either. But as long as you like them. If they make them in a concave face would look decent I think. Not a fan of the flat faces really.
Nurburgring is actually a good wheel although I am not a fan of TSW in general. IMO, it's suited better for a non-staggered setup because it has a flat face as is rather plain looking. A 18 x 9 +63 would be perfect for the rear but there isn't a good match for front.
If you want 18's, maybe Rota D2? Those JLB 286's would have been perfect if they still made them.

Have you checked the classifieds? There are at least 15 sets right now and always have more coming up. There are at least two of VSXXs that have s2k offsets on there. Also, volks make s2k specific offsets so occasionally a set of those will pop up.
