Can you size up tires on Ap1 16" wheels? What's the best tire sizes? Anyone have pics of wider tires on those Ap1 wheels?

There are not too many wide tires in 16
For that you have to go 17 or 18

Thanks. I see that now after browsing Tire Rack. 16" high performance tires are only available in 205 and 225 sizes. I will need to get a set of ap2 17" wheels if I want to get wider rubber.

I'm running 225/245 toyo r888's on my 16" ap1 wheels. Not optimal but not too far away and the meat looks great imo.

I'm running Bridgestone SO-2's on the rear, despite their 225 rating the tread width is just about as wide as some 245 tires out there. On the front I'm running Bridgestone RE-760s which tend to be a bit wider than most other tires despite their 205 rating. You can find tires that tend to run wider within the same classifications.

Thanks fellas. I think I will just stick with oem sizes, for both ap1 and also if I get ap2 wheels. Can't go wrong with what the engineers chose
