Looking for some tire fitment advice. I've got RPF1's. Front's are 17x7.5, rear's are 17x9. They were on the car before I got it, so i'm not sure on what the offsets are.

I'm looking for a ~meaty~ style setup. I'm lowered on skunk2 springs which claim about a 2.25'' drop, and have rear ASM overfenders. Looking for something like Federal RSR's or Sumitomo HTRZ III.

I'm curious as to what the largest I can fit up front and in the rear are. It will mainly be a daily, but might get autocrossed once or twice a year for fun, not for competition or anything.

225/45, 255/40. IMO there is no point going any wider on your current wheels as you start to run into multiple issues:
Tire availability
Tire diameter
Tire width in proportion to wheel width

MAYBE 235/45, 265/40 if you can actually find tires in that size.

The rears are +45 offset, but thats not the issue. As echoed above, your rim width and tire availability in a 17" are going to be your limitation. Agreed 255 will be your best choice for the rear, with the option to run a pinched and larger overall diamiter then ideal- in a 275/40. 215 or 225/45 or 235/40 up front could be run.

I forgot to mention, I believe the previous owner rolled the fenders and removed the liners, will there be any rubbing with my current ride height with a 225/45/17 and 255/40/17?

2.25" is a pretty substantial drop, but still shouldn't be an issue as long as the fenders are rolled well and the rear bumper mounting tab has been cut and relocated.

The wheel specs, including offsets, are cast into the inside of the wheel, inside one of the spokes.

I picked up some 225/45 and 255/40 Sumitomo HTRZ III 3's. Will report back with results and pictures of the fitment when they get here Tuesday.
