As the title says , I have 17x9 +45 & 17x10 +38 wheels with a 235/255 tires. would it be a problem if I switched to a square tire set up (255's) all around, even though my car has a staggered set up on wheels? The wheels are rpf1's, just curious to see if maybe I should just buy a pair for 17x10 to throw in the front if I should not run square tires on my current wheel's.

255s would be the ideal size for a 10" wheel. Consider a square 10" wheel setup if you want to run a square 255 setup.

i'd still stagger the tires because you likely are not throwing the 10s on the front to rotate anyways. 245/255

+1, currently running a 245/255 stagger myself.

Keep in mind there is a huge difference in fitment between 9" +45 and a 10" +38, especially when factoring in wider tire (255) as well. Probably not going to happen even with pulled front fenders.

You can but what are you looking to accomplish? I do it for winter and run the narrower front tires all the way around for more winter grip.
