I gotta agree, Honda should have made it look like their own design. I suppose another hybrid offering is not a bad thing though, I honestly don't see myself ever buying one by choice (hybrid, that is)

I could see myself buying a hybrid, but not a Prius or any other 4dr sedan version of it.

I really liked the idea of the Accord Hybrid. Make a nice coupe with MORE performance than the top of the line gas version, and I'd be inclined to buy it.

I suppose if I had to, the Accord wouldn't be bad. I just don't see the point in something like the Tahoe Hybrid, it's rated at 20/20 which is only slightly better the the regular one but for a lot more money, seems pointless to me.

In order for me to buy one, I would have to see a real increase in mileage versus a similar vehicle, not 1 or 2 miles per gallon.

Yeah, I don't see anything compelling NOW but in 5-6 years I think there will be 30MPG Tahoes and 50mpg Miatas and 40MPG Corvettes. Then it will be more intersting to me.

Absolutely, I agree.

I'm already missing the 10mpg difference between my Audi & the Merc, yet another thing I didn't think about when I got the Mercedes... 20 mpg difference would be very cool.

On a side note, I would buy a diesel powered car now before I'd buy a hybrid.

I would love a turbo-diesel sporty coupe.

350 HP, 450 ft-lbs of torque, RWD in something like a G35, or a TL.

I didn't see it like a Prius initially, but now that you mention it...
