I would love a turbo-diesel sporty coupe.

The new Audi & MB diesel's aren't messing around anymore, they are very quiet and quite powerful.
The R8 is supposedly coming in a diesel, now that would be really cool

I see the C-Pillar, but I actually think Toyota stole some styling cues from Honda when they did the Prius in any event. The split rear glass with the small lower window is a Honda CRX ripoff. So, which came first, the chicken or the egg?

Everyone, long time no see. Nice car if you want a sedan like the Prius which is a Great Car for its intended use (Big City, Stop n Go Traffic).
Most Hybrids are a waste of Money, with the way Most Americans driving styles are. It would take 5 to 10 years to recover the extra cost of these cars compaired to their gas cousins. When was the last time you owned a car for more than Five Years ?
If given a choice, I would rather have a Full Electric Car.
Check out the link below if you think electric is too slow.

Yeah, I heard 97 years cost recovery period for the worst (Lexus RX350h or is it 330h?); however, I know someone who owns one of those and he claims that when he bought it the dealer was offering the hybrids for the same price as the non-hybrids...
To answer your question, I've had my A4 for more than six years and don't plan on getting rid of her anytime soon (especially since I just dropped in a new clutch, flywheel, and timing belt this year). I'm also sure I'll keep my S for more than 5 years. Actually, come to think of it, I know alot of people with cars older than 5 years... Maybe I'm not rolling with the "in crowd".

Anyway, I think Honda is trying to say that their 2010 Insight will cost substantially less than other hybrids -- we'll see if that turns out to be true or not...
