Damn you kids and your music *shakes cane angrily*. Back in my day we only had 1 Fast and Furious movie and we were grateful. Went to the theater in my Saturn in the snow, uphill, both ways. (Saturn is a company that used to exist btw). Back then, 200 hp was a lot (no really, it was) and we didn't get our information from them crazy interwebs - we got it from print magazines. Magazines like Super street and sport compact. Back then, Honda made the Integra Type-R, S2000, and NSX and all Hyundai's were pieces of crap. We didn't have a Z car or a rotary car or anything with awd and a turbo. Our phones were only phones and an MP3 player was the size of a brick.

Lol. Actually, I think I was rocking that discman on top of the dash, with the tape adapter going to my stock tape deck. By the end of the year though, I was on the cutting edge of technology and had a MP3 CD play (not built into the car...discman type) that played all of 650mb of music.

We had Zs since 1969, awd turbo since galant vr4 followed by a gsx(lets not forget legacy turbos in the 80s)and rotary since mazda fb in I think 1979.

Not that you could buy new. I'm talking about that dead zone after the 300ZX and before the 350Z. After the RX7 and before the RX8. After the Supra and before the...um...the 20+ year later LFA. That time when the best subaru around was a 2.5rs. The 3000GT was around in 2001 but the eclipse gsx was gone. That era when people were snatching up SUV's and many sports cars were discontinued.

Yeah, and we're almost back to that very same situation yet again.

Really sucks that this true.

My dream car/mods were: viper GTS

2003 - 2 Fast 2 Furious
I lived in: chicago, IL
I drove: 92 civic hatch cx
I thought the coolest car in the movie was: friend dragged me out to watch it. i was (still am) certified hater of F&F. but still, favorite car in the movie was the cobra R.
My dream car/mods were: F50

2006 - Tokyo Drift
I lived in: oaklawn,il
I drove: 2000 s2000
I thought the coolest car in the movie was: again, friends dragged me out to watch. but favorite car was the one in the beginning where he beat brad from home improvement
My dream car/mods were: too many to list

2009 - Fast and Furious
I lived in: oaklawn, IL
I drove: 2008 Honda S2000 CR w/luxury package
I thought the coolest car in the movie was: didn't watch it. i was a badass autocrosser that never was able to beat anybody. still hating on F&F and their promotion of ricers

2011 - Fast Five
I lived in: oaklawn, IL
I drove: 92 miata, 2010 honda fit

I'M STILL HATIN' ON F&F AND THATS WHY I'M NOT GOING TO THE MEET WITH YOU RICER FANBOYS AND YOUR VEETACS
