Default NEED Restaurant idea's for V-day

Hey guys what's going on. I was just wondering if you guys could help me out, im looking for a romantic restaurant around the chicagoland area. I haven't reserved anything yet and im afraid if i don't soon, then i would have no place to go. Looking to spend about $30 a person. or $60-70 dinner sounds good.

thankyou in advance...

dude, you're about 2 wks too late. there are far and few $30/pp dinners to start with and anything that's worth eating $70/nite is pretty much all booked (think.. sweet and savories, etc.)

at this moment, i'd look into 1) olive garden 2) macaroni grilll 3) j alexander 4) wildfire 5) none of the above, since they're just all crap, so you might as well cook at home, or take her out to pho 777.

Cook at home. Wins you more points and the transition to VD sex is quicker.

personally can't stand fondue. don't want all my food to be dipped in cheese. it's pretty disgusting, not to mention a lot of asian people are lactose intolerant. you don't want the lady to be farting out mad gas while making out...

regarding cooking @ home. the bottom line is: how good of a cook are you. i don't care if the thought counts, yada yada yada; when the stuff is inedible, it's not romantic, it's tragic. that said, i can do 4 course meals in my own kitchen, but i'm so beat (from intent concentration, etc.) i've never found the dinner afterwars to be, again, 'romantic'.

i bet you can pull off 7 course beef @ home w/ little effort considering the help you can get from argyle stores? g'luck!

I would stay home and cook a spiecal meal instead of fighting the crowded places to get a reservation and get crappy and over priced service. I think Valentines day is over rated.

foundue does not necessarily mean cheese. It can be all types of sauces... including chocolate if you like. dip some fruit! and have a nice pasta dinner together before...

Go to Eat Zi's (on N. Clark) for a good take out meal, reheat, put out the special china and viola! A great, romantic meal and you'll be in the hot tub within the hour!
