Take the safety course FIRST to decide if you really want a bike.
THEN buy an inexpensive bike with low displacement. A 250 maybe.
Get GOOD on that, then step up to something a little bigger like a 600cc.
IF you feel you need more, step up again. Or stick with the 600.
Do NOT start with a 1,000cc bike.

I think about it every once in a while, but I doubt I'll ever pull the trigger on one. I'd probably scare the crap out of myself on the first outing and be too afraid to ride it again.







I mean, if you're looking for bikes....get an MV Agusta!
