Classic definition of first world problem.

But that sucks nonetheless. Are you going to see what it would take to fix it? Or are you going to just leave it?

Yeah, obviously hindsight is 20/20, but I should have moved the car back a bit before putting the bikes in.

It looked like it was more the "starshield" clear bra that melted than anything, as it was still orange, just with a spot about the size of a quarter with the paint bubbled a bit. I didn't move the bike completely out of the way to get a better look before leaving on my trip, but I'm thinking if I really want to fix it, it might be a respray of paint plus a new clear bra, if just a new clear bra wouldn't fix it.

The front clamshell has more serious damage elsewhere (primarily hidden down below the front) so I'm hesitant to do much. Basically, it sucks, but since it's not perfect, I might as well just continue enjoying driving it, ya know?

#1 My 20 year H.S. reunion is coming up in November (getting close to vintage over here).
#2 The dumb bitch that is organizing it is charging $40 a head for tickets, and it's just at a local Irish pub with basic bar food, WTF is the $40 for? To pay for your plane ticket back from Cali? For $80 at this place, my wife and I can have full bellies and be black out drunk and have money left over, and it doesn't even say whether or not food and drinks is even included. Don't even get me started on the ridiculousness that our 10 year was...

Edit: she's now posted on Facebook that the ticket includes (1) Free Appetizers, (2) two free drink tickets (cash bar afterwards), and (3) Live music (by the way, this place routinely has free live music). Okay, so apps and two drinks should total at most $20 per person, and even that is generous. Unless she's got U2 or something lined up, this is still ridiculous.

this was the exact story of my 10-year -- $50/person for free apps, two drink tickets and free ping pong (at a ping pong bar? wtf is that?). ermmmmmmmm no.

We've been planning a change for the last few weeks. We are supposed to have communication sent to the affected people before the change goes in. We were in contact with the team that sends out those communications. The one who was engaged on it, is on leave this week. his coworker was copied on all the communication over the last week. She didn't bother to read any of the emails and didn't know she was supposed to send anything out.

I have a call into by boss now to decide if we should proceed without the communication or reschedule the change.

A package was shipped to me on the 25th. Somehow FedEX "smart post" decided to deliver it to the local post office in West Virginia, about 400 mi away from me. The local post office has been flipping the package between two local post offices in WV for 2-3 days now.
