Dell Latitude.
Core i7, 8GB RAM, 500GB HD, 512MB Discreet Graphics, and the fullHD 15.6" screen.

It's a beastie.

There are faster, better ones coming out all the time. I have no illusions about that. But it should last me 3-4years easily.

I've had it for 2 years. And it was 1/2 the price I paid for the new one.
It still does 80% of what I need a laptop for, but that last 20% was really starting to bug me. My current laptop would still be a VERY useful device for the average person for 2-4 more years, easily.
