Too much work, not enough chance to actually win.

 

I get mine from work, they gave me first gen ipad few months ago and now they said that we will be upgrading. Its not really my ipad, but I do get to keep it as long as I work there.

 

i just aced a phone interview. now i go in on saturday and most likely sunday for a hands on demonstration of my skill level. hes got 2 shop trucks that needs fixing ASAP that hes gonna throw me on. this job pays well enough that if i get it, i could be back in an S before summer ends.

 

I guess this is half woot half vent.
After over two weeks I received a call this morning that my car is ready and that i can pick it up on Wednesday. That's a woot because it was last major thing that I really have planned for it this year other than repainting.
Problem is car is in kenosha and my only way to get there is using the audi....and well audi just broke down. Because its S6 with 2.2L motor the part that needs to be replaced needs to be ordered from Germany and I guess that takes over a week.
I'm going to have to hold off on datsun until next week...

 

If Sunday is an option, Brad. I could run you up to Kenosha.

 

I picked my car up today and drove back home (from North avenue) all downtown. Many attractive ladies kept staring at my car and, particularly, me. Must be the exhaust.

 

Fixed.

 

My Alcantara airbag cover finally came back. Now if it holds up this time, I will have finally finished my interior conversion as the last part (the fake glove-box) will finally be installed. (never really has been) Need to reinstall my airbag, then take it to the shop to get the code cleared. Some stupid special equipment is needed for that, but my relations at the dealership might allow me to get it cleared for free since I know why it is there and no diagnostics are being done.

This isn't to say my interior is done though. Just the major conversion of de-smurfing the insides.

 

nothing special. just a scanner that can read airbag/SRS lights.



boss won't be in for the next month. but thats the only part that is woot. the effects of him being out is very big non-woot. everything from payroll to daily operations to even my job interview has been effected.
