I didn't keep mine long enough for it to break. Aside from what I mentioned I just thought I looked ridiculous with it on. I'm a jeans & T-shirt kinda guy & then this big, heavy, shiny expensive watch. The thing looked huge on my little wrist.

I'm guessing it was a Navitimer then. They are massive, I like them a lot until I put them on. I can honestly say you made the right choice getting rid of it, far too big.

I also like the Graham watches, they make the Navitimer look small!!

interesting...good to know...i want a diver watch that is durable that i can beat up...IE: a Rolex sea dweller on a nato strap. but I don't want to drop more than a couple grand.... I should note that i don't believe in babying watches (exceptions of course such as pateks/AP/JLC).... i had a paracord strap made for my lum-tec and abuse that thing like a cheap hooker and love it. I'd like a durable diver i can do the same with...

Oris, Tag, Longines, Ebel, TechnoMarine all make very decent diver watches. I suppose it depends on the features you're after.

i need to do some research. my features I'd like are: durable, 42-44MM case - 24mm lugs if possible. I have seen some Oris watches I like, but i refuse to ever buy a Tag - they don't portray a good image in my head.

Thanks for the others listed, I will check them out
