Interesting. I love rubber straps but hate metal and usually leather.

Sam do you have any "tough and of durable" watches, or mostly dressier?

I have a Citizen divers watch, it has a rubber strap so I rarely wear it, come to think about it, I haven't worn it in years. I have a few Seiko's that are chronograph's and not really "dressy" but those are sitting in a case with all the others.

I've probably got around 10-12 that I would consider not "special" cause they were relatively cheap, but I really don't wear any of them anymore.

The Citizen looks very similar to this

I think we need to see a picture of your collection!

How do you like the seikos? I actually like the way the citizen looks, but I am an automatic watch slut.

I have a bunch of them.

I used to really, really like them, then one by one they all died. I've taken them to various jewelers to get them fixed and they all say they need a microchip or some crap like that. I figured they just needed new batteries, but that hasn't brought them back to life. Ever since then, I've gone with the expensive brands, most have been fine (save for the Omega) and work brilliantly.

Seiko makes different lines, the expensive ones are very decent, but most chain type stores don't sell them.
