bad move the forum is slow enough, this is just another UMW forum.
If we had 500 posts a day and 50 new threads then maybe.
The subforum has nothing to do with quantity of posts. There's two rather distinct types of posts, and one group was becoming detrimental to the other, and that's why those got moved.

You should ask the people of the UMW forums how they want things before just making a trash sub forum to dump things you don't want to manage.

Then again what do I know.

So the 7-8 people who constitute 99.9% of the posts in the UMW can tell me they want their personal playground as is? And the dozens of other members can continue to not post meets, get togethers, or anything else because their threads get hijacked?

It's not a trash forum, and I still have to manage it. If anything it's more work for me, but I accept that and I hope it works out.

If it doesn't work out, I'm man enough to admit it.

So are we enforcing the UMW forum a little more stringently now? Also, I'm stickying this post to the top.

BTW, I can see the value and continuation in this as long as people continue to post here and in the manner as they've posted in the past. This way those that post away as they do have a forum for themselves, and those that don't want to see posts pushed down by "whored" threads can passively ignore them.

I say give them their precious UMW back... The hell with it! This thing is getting old and tiring.

FYI, there's different reasons why people aren't posting, one is because they are being push out. This separation is just one example.

And you why people are leaving!!

I'm sure someone somewhere is happy to hear that i have had enough of this and that this is my last post here.

Congrats..... you won.

Add my name to your list of kills.

Wait what makes you think that creating this forum will reduce the amount of threads that get jacked on the other forum?? Doesnt make sense to me, if thats the reasoning.
