Default Wicker Park Area.

so i was in the area last night for the concert at the double door, i must say that i really liked the area. i liked the crowd, it seemed like a really kickass place to live, i saw some condos advertised for 300k, is that the going rate around that area?

$300k is about right, but i'm by no means an expert on pricing. i lived there for a year...and i definitely would not move back. car got broken into, apt got broken into, almost mugged...and quite crappy location.

depends on what you're looking for, though. i'm quite happy with wrigleyville right now, on southport.

That area had gotten much better over the years (dump in late 80's). However, it's still sorrounded by not so good neighborhood/area. Rustywave experiences is a proof.

Geez and you guys cringe when I mention I live on the southside! I've only had my garage broken into...mostly because I left the door open one day.
