Main Attraction

The S2000 market has exploded in recent years, and the current supply chain crisis isn't helping matters, either. People are more willing than ever to dish out big bucks for nice cars, and that was once again the case with this 2007 Honda S2000 that recently crossed the virtual block over at Cars and Bids.

Nearly Flawless

With just over 58k miles on the clock, this AP2 doesn't quite qualify as a super low-mile car, but that's a relatively low total, regardless. It certainly looks like a well-kept machine, with shiny Laguna Blue Pearl paint with just a few typical rock chips, though both bumpers have been either repaired or replaced and repainted.

Like New

This AP2 is/was also a two-owner car that has lived in the car-friendly states of Texas and California, which is a bonus. It's also bone stock, rolling on its original 17-inch alloy wheels with Xenon headlights and black power-operated soft top with rear glass looking as good as new, save for some curb rash on the wheels.

Contrasting Cabin

The contrasting black interior looks factory fresh as well, with no noted flaws in the auction listing. Highlights in here include the leather upholstery, aluminum pedals, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, and the S2000's signature push-button start and giant tachometer.

Stellar Powertrain

The engine bay is sparkling clean as well, giving us a good look at the AP2's F22C1 2.2-liter inline-four cylinder engine, which was originally rated to produce 237 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. It sends that power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential.

Solid Sales Price

This particular S2000 had an original MSRP of $34,845 and managed to sell for $35,501. Not a bad return on investment, we'd say, though it also isn't the craziest price we've seen for an S2000 by a long shot.
