Default RTD Drive - Blood Mountain 2014 v2.0

So for S2KDays we got to experience a really fun road down in north Georgia called US 19, which traverses Blood Mountain. This road is quite "on camber" and is partially 3 lanes, so each direction in spots has two lanes going in the same direction (for passing). Quite curvy as well, you can still get some speed through 3rd and 4th gears and the posted speed limit is 45-55 in spots. Just be careful of bikers, as they frequent this road on the weekends. The drive will be moderately paced and monitored. If you decide to use the passing lane, only do so when you can see what's around the next corner, as the car to your right may have to borrow the lane to give bikers (pedal) some room (we'll discuss the more in the Driver's Meeting).

We will stop and fill up in Robbinsville...make sure you have enough gas to get to Robbinsville from the gravel lot

Route and Map (proposed, any issues, concerns, or changes I am game for until March 7th)

All righty, Bertie, I'll tailgun for you (even thought the food in Helen isn't exactly overwhelming).

Adnan, is your lady coming along for the ride?

She is indeed. She is super excited! And my dad asked about you. He says hi and he will most likely attend in September.

Great reviews on Google and a decent beer/coke selection (I dislike Pepsi places)

Kinda scary when the only restaurant in town to get 5 stars on Yelp is Wendy's. There are a couple of German restaurants in town (whodathunkit in a town that's trying so hard to be something out of the Alps ). Old Bavaria Inn looks to be about the middle.

How's your dad doing? Hope he's well. Say hello for me and tell him I'm looking forward to seeing him in the Fall.
