Default Sigh...axle bucket swap now abs light on

I did the axle bucket swap on my car a few days ago to cure the vibration I was getting everything went well no more vibration except now my abs light is on!!! This irritates the hell out of me, did some searches came up with I probably stretched the abs cable when I pulling the hub outa the way to get the axles out ( woot ) so is there anyway to reset the light/reset the abs sensor/do anything besides buying a new $100 + sensor any help would be greatly appreciated. And don't give me the "use the search function" people who say that are lazy and shouldn't have clicked on my topic in the first place. Its always nice to get fresh idea's on things and maybe there are new ways of curing old problems. So please HELP ME!!!

No. I did the same mistake myself. There is no way out of it but buying a new sensor.

I'd check junk yards or look in the s2ki marketplace to see if anyone is parting out a car. Any MY00-03 sensor should work.

Strip the outer wrap (shrinkwrap, not the insulation) off of the cable and check for breaks before you shell out for a new one. If it's pulled apart at the sensor mount it's done.

First, check to make sure the sensor is lined up in the knuckle correctly. If it shifted a bit, it will throw a code. If you need the sensor, find a partout thread in the FS section. Davgoat is my go-to used parts guy and sells the sensors for a very reasonable price.

First pull the code, then go through a quick diagnostic. If you suspect it is one of the rear sensors, then test the resistance across it, if you are unable to get a reading then that sensor is toast.

Then check continuity on each sensor
That should tell you what needs fixing

also check the actual axle (the part the sensor reads off for dirt, grease or damage)
