Default Recomend me a good audio bundle?

Thinking head unit (prefrably with adapter to let the steering controls work)

Plus door speakers.

Cant be bothered with subs or amps. Just want something quick and easy. USB/iPod connections would be nice though.

Ideally, you want to get some MY02+ doorcards so you can fit components instead of the coaxials usually fitted to an 01 car.

Coaxial speakers: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-spr-17c.html £100
or Component speakers http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpi...low-mount.html £95

Head unit: take your pick of these http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/head...96637291cb7525

Dash controls: http://www.lowcostcaraudio.co.uk/lcca/mia/pid/7352203 £14 plus http://www.lowcostcaraudio.co.uk/lcca/mia/pid/7670742 £3

No, the £14 adapter does all that for you.

It's really worth doing the doorcard change if you can though as it makes a big difference to sound quality.

Tough choice, I would opt for an mp3 head unit or one that reads USB. You want the highest power you can get : 50W or so.

I wouldn't recommend the Alpines, they really are quite bass light. I would recommend JBL GTO's or Infinity Reference. You may need to have spacers, but most speakers come with spacers.

Get some components, and place the tweeters near the a-pillar, I had mine mounted in the a-pillar. They do raise the sound out of the foot wells.

Does componants just mean you can run a tweeter as well? or is there some different with the cable types? Changing the door cards would be a bit of a faff I guess... humm
