Default Any DIY for Coolant Flush?

It's about that time to do a coolant flush on my car, it's just that i don't know how...

I've tried searching for any DIY's for a coolant flush, but i haven't been able to locate any throughout the forum (already checked under the hood section).

I figured it's some good knowledge to know how to do for future maintenance, so i'm open to any tips and tricks to get this done properly.

Thanks in advance!

Procedure for Draining and Bleeding your coolant system

1. With engine cold pop open your radiator cap, reservior cap
2. twist and pull drain plug at the center/bottom of radiator(make sure your draining and desposing properly, it is illegal to let it run into the storm drains)

3. while coolant is draining loosen bleeder screw

which is a nipple looking thing with a hole on top just to the right of the head

4. also lossen the heater plug rubber cap which is located almost center of the firewall on a collant line facing you

5 Once all old coolant is drained you may choose to flush with distilled water first or coolant

(note) If you choose to do water you follow these procedures twice, once with distilled water the second with coolant.
If you choose coolant just follow it once with the proper coolant, recommend Honda type 2 (blue)

6. Plug radiator drain plug

7. fill reservior to max line

8. fill radiator with proper coolant

9. With Radiator open car running watch the Rubber plug by the firewall as soon on step 4 for a steady flow of coolant, once coolant is steady flowing put the rubber cap on...remember to be filling the radiator anytime it gets low in the process.

10. Next while car is still running and after the rubber cap is back on you do the same thing to the bleeder screw shown in step 3, wait for a steady flow of coolant and tighten down as soon as it is a steady flow

11. after both bleeder screw and rubber cap and on and tight top of radiator one last time and cap it, at this point no air should be in your system, always monitor your temp gauge no matter what though.

12. if you used distilled water for the first cycle after the car has been running to allow the fans to kick on a few times to cycle the water, let car cool, drain the system, and do all over again with proper coolant.

There's also the DIY by xviper:

I'm going to use both xvipers and 19wrath85's DIYs and attempt this myself pretty soon. I usually double-up on these DIYs so I won't get stuck at some step most people consider common sense
