Track Days 2017
#21
We have guys come that have experience already but have never ran with us. Usually we put you with the school group for 1 session just to make sure you're safe and know what you're doing. Then for the remaining of the day you can run with the open track group.

I'm starting to post up some of the schedules on the Upstate boards, and you might want to take a look. Alternatively, cut and paste and bring here.

Check back as I plan to Update with SCDA-1, Northeast Track Days and maybe Track night in America when those schedules come out. I suspect these groups might add Thompson into the mix. Palmer ran some of its own track days late last year, so I'll try to figure out what they might be planning for this year.

Fitrst off welcome to the forums,
You will see different threads next year when guys start going to the track. I will have a thread going for 2017 showing all the track days as well as autocross days. Bradthemachine will set up the track day I NY safety, I plan on being there to help him keep everything organize.
AX6 are great, I currently run them and dont have any issues. I'm on my 3rd set and got one on standby.
If you know your going to get into track heavy, get the rollbar. If you just want to try it out, just make sure your car is working correctly. You have dot 4 brake fluid, tires are 100%, and fresh brake pads

Welcome aboard. I race my s2000 in the Honda Challenge series with NASA but I go to a variety of events throughout the year. Feel free to hit me up if you have any direct questions but for a stockish s2000 I would do large front bar, 255s all around on 17x9, carbotech xp10f xp8r OR stoptech st40 if you want to save money in long run, stainless brake lines and a rear wing.
