How much does it cost to change out the interior?

Agreed. Two tone for the win. I'm currently in the process of updating my interior with an AP2 radio door assembly as well as center console and im having seconds thoughts because part of me doesn't like the idea of lying to myself, putting AP2 parts in an AP1 lol.

Its not that hard its actually pretty simple but you will need to remove the steering column and that is the hardest part. I did it with a mate with my last s2000 from black/red 00 to a full red 02 interior and took us 5-6hrs with 2 guys being clueless and following the repair manual. I will be pulling my dash out for my next s2k (searching atm) and replacing it a JDM dash with cutout for the double din

I don't own an s2000 (yet) but Ive recently started to look at them more seriously. I found this forum and its great, I've learned a lot. The car is a little on the expensive side for me so I might have to realistically sacrifice a bit of my wants. (ideal 02' gpw/red). Anyways, I have found some cars at reasonable price with colors I do not like. For example an all blue 03'... ALL BLUE; carpets, seats, outside, looks like the kid that ate the blueberry candy in Willy Wonkas Factory.
I don't mind rolling in it as is for a while but I would prefer a black trim on the inside or all black.
So my question is: if I were to buy how much would it cost me to change it, how difficult is it and is it frowned upon in the s2k community

Where I'm trying to get at is, if I had rushed and bought a GPW Tan it would cost me an extra:
"Carpet = $150-250
Mats = $80-100
Seats = $700-1000
Dash = $300
Door Panels = $250
Center Console = $80"

Hi,
I have a blue and asked this question a while ago. Why are the red/black interiors of the Berlina black models two-tone but the blue is ALL blue?? I'm looking to just start detailing in and out, so haven't yet decided on taking the plunge on a full colour change although a two tone is the way to go with the royal blue leather if you want to go for it.
This link might help as it contains a couple of shots from another users blue I quite like, to give you an idea on what to expect. Can't help much on costs as I haven't got that far but leather paint or a vinyl wrap might do the trick rather than a replacement. You won't find black/blue door cards I know that

Thanks and good luck
