Friday 13th
On such a day like Friday 13th I started to change all my brake hoses to Goodridge braided hoses and I thought how hard could it be, long story short I fitted them all and started bleeding the system all was going well until... Psssh the rear brake pipe decided to piss itself and now I'm thinking it's gonna need a join, there's me thinking Friday 13th was superstition, guess not :/

How did you fit them as the hardlines seem to run under the subframe? I'm worried having to drop the subframe to get to them, I hope I don't have to.

Is it just leaking at the connection between the hard pipe and braided hose?? If so, just take the hose off, push up the nut and chop off the end of the pipe and re-flare it...? Job done. If this is the case it's just because the end got damaged and isn't seating properly.

This is why I removed my hard lines and had a full set of braided lines made...well rears so far but fronts will be done soon.no more worries of the dreaded rust lol
And used threaded nut inserts / -6 stainless P-clips / stainless bolts - washers - Spring washers ........ The lines with all stainless fittings only cost like £100 aswell ,where people pay nearly that for the flexible ends?

1. Cut back the plastic/rubber coating covering the metal pipe so you can get the nut high enough, if required
2. Pull the nut up and hacksaw off the flare at the end of the hose. Clean the end up so it's smooth and has no burrs
3. Get yourself a brake pipe flaring tool. Something like this - https://www.machinem...SWo4aAsBp8P8HAQ
4. Flare the pipe and then re-assemble, test and pray that everything's dandy.
Easy job if you have the tools, shouldn't take more than 15/20 minutes.

Thanks buddy I'm hoping that this is the case, I'm gonna have a go at it the weekend, I was planning to go Evo Triangle this Sunday in it as well, I'm hoping I can get it sorted before then.
