cooling question
Will the radiator from a pre-facelift fit a facelift car? I have 2006 drive by wire throttle if that makes any difference? Cheers

Thanks Tim - the reason I ask is because I have seen this on e-bay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAND-NEW-...3D201212743467
The compatibility chart shows it does fit a 2006 year but when you fill in the check vehicle details it says 'non compatible'.
The threaded brass connector (in the bottom left side) also visibly looks smaller than the temperature sensor size.
Has anyone had experience of these radiators? Any feedback in terms of quality would be appreciated.

A buddy and I compared radiators a year ago. His '02 and my '06 radiator have identical Denso part numbers -- on the radiator itself, they the same radiator. Honda part numbers differ only in the last three digits. The '06 and '07 have the same Honda part number.
Either his '02 had a later radiator or Honda has two different part numbers for the same radiator. Regardless the same part number as my '06 (and the '07) is in his '02 and nothing looks cobbled together.

The rad may be the same but the fan switch is smaller on the DBW AP2. You have to use your 06+ fan switch or it'll throw a CEL and you can't just wire in an AP1 fan switch. You can get an adapter to fit the switch though. Not sure what the sizes are. My Mishimoto came with the adapter.

Thanks for the replies. Really useful as usual with this forum. I have bought separate fans (but didn't appreciate there were different connectors) this should be okay because I have the original fans so I assume I can just butcher the old connectors and solder onto the replacement fans.
I have messaged the seller of the 2007 rad and asked if he would split the rad and fans but he hasn't responded. For the price I am thinking of going down the new after market route unless I can find I good second hand one.
Cheers Rich.
