Default Throttle pedal adjustment

I've noticed that I have quite a lot of free play in my throttle pedal at the top of it's travel. Mine is the electronic throttle in the later cars.
Is there any way to adjust this free play out on the electronic throttle cars? I'm finding it a little annoying as it makes hell/toe downchanges tricky.

It depends on what turns the potentiometer. If it's on the pedal it might be tricky.

There is actually a throttle cable to the rheostat.

Remove the black cover and you can adjust it.

The one on my NSX was so slack, it felt like I must have found about another 5-10 BHP at WOT!
