Rough 01 S2k in Montgomery
As most of you guys know, I work at the Montgomery Honda Dealer. Yesterday a GPW 01 S2k showed up on a wrecker. The windsheild has "Does not run" and "Repo" written on it. The car is a little rough on the outside, dented 1/4 panel, dirty, (inside and out) and a messed up front bumper. It also is sporting a GA tag.
Under the hood, The battery was dead and the drive belt not on the pullies. When the engine is started, you are greeted with lots of unpleasant noise, and some blue smoke out the back. The engine has some serious damage. Either a rod bearing is toast, or a piston skirt is scuffed.
It's pretty safe to assume the Car/engine was trashed by a owner that wasn't paying the loan anymore. It's just pretty sad to see a once nice car that beat up.
If you could get the car cheap, It could be a decent track car. How cheap I don't know.

If I remember the drivers seat was OK, not great. Unfortunately the seats are red.
A small block Chevy may fit, The problem is the very narrow transmission tunnel. Any Chevy trans is not going to fit very nicely. A used engine would be the cheapest/easiet repair.
