Default Chevy?

Hey guys!! Does anyone know any Chevy repair facilities in California? It sounds like my sister blew the engine in her Yukon on the way to California this weekend..

She couldn't listen to me could she? Shoulda bought a Honda!!

Any referrals would be greatly appreciated!

California is a big state, where is she at? I have a ford connection in LA area but no Chevy. You should have her rent something with the ability to tow her truck back.

The truck is in El Cajon right now..

I agree about having it towed back here, but she is wanting to have it fixed where it's at.. Again I say, she couldn't listen to me!!

Hee hee hee!!!

Well, the saga is coming to an end!! During my mad hunt for a reputable Chevy dealership, I got a referral from an ex... Turns out that his friend is a parts manager out there--- also turns out to be a guy that we used to hang out with quite a bit in the "old days" .. I'm getting a brand new engine installed with a 3 year 100k warranty for 3800 out the door.. Not too shabby!!

Once it all gets resolved, make sure you keep bringing up the "I told you so" factor.

Everyone always likes that person

Jeff-
You think everyone likes that person b/c you are the jack ass that does the I told you so phrase.
and I know first-hand just b/c I too repeat the phrase with the "you are freakin idiot" look.

Lori just tell your sister to come my appointment at your work next week and I'll give her that look and the line.
I can almost see the reaction...
"Who the is this freakin' punk-ass asian kid?!?!?!? LORI!!!!"
haha I can see it now... ah.. the boredom the classroom setting generates.
