Default Dyno day at DynoComp

Doc, Ozy, Wortham, and anyone else that might be boosted...

I won't be needing any of these services but most likely will attend and hang out.

Wortham, why not have it tuned here? I would definitely wait till next summer when it's hot. If you have it tuned now in this nice cool weather, it will most likely run like crap once it gets hot outside. I was thinking of having mine reflashed when I get an intake, but I don't want it tuned in 50 degree weather and have to worry about pinging next summer. Just a thought. The cool thing is you will be able to see your A/F ratio in this dyno run.

I think I will have to make it over there. Sounds like a good day of fun.

short answer is i don't trust anyone in this area to tune my VAFC. i've heard too many stories about people who think they know what they're doing when they don't. hence, my trip to CA. and in jun, i'll be headed out to VA, so i'll be back to weather about the same as CA in the winter, so i think it should balance out.

Wortham, they tuned Mr. Buds VAFC along with a 50 or 100 shot. If anything, come up and see what you're laying down and you will also be able to see your A/F ratios. When I had the smaller pulley installed, they ran it on the dyno and I was dangerously lean. I went from from 286 whp to 310 whp with the smaller pulley and the adjustment to the FPR.

i'm in no place to judge their abilities, but i think you most of all can appreciate some hesitation when you take your car somewhere to have worked on, and things go sour. of course, it can happen anywhere, but the reputation of UL and his tunings of S2000's is well known. so, i try to rule out as many things going wrong as i can. i've been putting off the trip til i get my car trailer, cuz with 4.77 gears, i'm def not going to drive it all the way out there.

Is anybody else planning on attending this? I'm gonna be there to make a few runs. I'm also needing an alignment so I'm gonna schedule something with them for next week and check out their equipment.
