If that is your house, it is gorgeous, if it is his house, no wonder he has a GT3 parked out front.

On topic, have you tried selling it to the dealership where you are trying to buy the GT3, or is the one in the pictures the one that you are wanting to buy?

The house is my buddy's, 1.5 million. He just built it, less than 2 years old.
He wants me to buy that GT3 but it’s to ruff for me. it has been hit by a school bus and had to have part of the "A" frame replaced. so he had GMG do the wide body RS conversation done on it but you can tell that they just put it back together with what every parts of older race car parts. For my money I want a stock, clean, car. I could see if I get something with a small finder binder but fix correctly to save me some money but "repairing" a part of the "A" frame is too much for me. He wants 72k with only 5k mil but its not clean enff for me.

I haven’t made my way do to the dealer yet, I was going to go this weekend but I was thinking to sell the S ASAP so I don’t put any more mils. on it then just shop around till I find what I want. My dd is my eg so that’s ok for now.

Got another buddy that tells me to keep the S and get a 997S. So I’m thinking that over as well. I see 991S go for around 50k so I would not have to sell the S for the down payment. He tell me that a GT3 in the hands of inexperience Porsche drive, its shit. He has a 1999 911 type 996 C2 (this is his 4th 911) and I could not keep up with him in my rolla or the CR on some roads we been on pushing it. He thinks it’s funny that I tell him that “if you sell the S and don’t get a GT3 to replace it then all other Porsches are shit and it stupid” kind of answer from other people I ask about getting into a Porsche. He tells me to test drive the 997S, he tells me it’s faster and better handling than my CR so we’ll see. I’m still doing my home work on all this.

Just make sure its an 08+ 997S. Any and every car is shit in the hands of someone inexperienced and incapable....That is why being a good driver in a S2000 during HPDE events is fun. You get to put everyone driving cars that cost 2x as much in a reality check and ruin their egos!

In 2008 the Carrera S moved from 3.6 to 3.8 liters. It also got direct injection. In 2009 the base 911 then got the engine upgrades. The change in engine netted an increase of ~30hp and 25tq. That is substantial. Also better fuel economy and some other minor tweaks.

The GTS is a 2011 model. They start at over 100k, so I doubt you will find one for earlier model year Gt3 prices.
