Default Short from steering wheel?

Update: So I had a short, kept blowing the ACG fuse, and it would run off the battery and die. ACG controls charging/alternator/emissions/cruise control. The cruise control light wouldn't turn on at all. I replaced my steering wheel, quick release, and found that the Cruise Control wires were taped together. I replaced it all with OEM, and now my cruise control light turns on when switched on. Wires are not touching, and so far it hasn't blown the ACG Fuse (15A) under dash. Just curious how those could cause a short. The wires coming from the Resume/Accel Decel/Reset

Interesting thing is, the fuse didn't blow right away. It took sometime until it blew. What has me interested is that the cruise control button light works now and it hasn't blown the fuse, even after running it for longer than before. Those wires have some sort of load through them or what?

Is that an Aftermarket replacement SRS real? Maybe that's your issue.

My 2006 had multiple different colored wires going to those connectors. yellow,brown,blue,black,white,red.. .. the standard wiring.

Huh. That is interesting but I remember something similar happened to Ravi back in the days with his Integra. It kept blowing a fuse and the car would shut off. He tore apart the entire dash looking for something like this. Eventually he was under the car one car and saw that his O2 sensor was rubbing against the body of the car and had rubbed through the wire coating and it would contact the metal at certain times due to vibration. Point is if there is a crossed wire it can cause some odd things to happen. I hope that this solves your problems! I would probably buy a new battery if you haven't already.

Idk, SRS light is on. I'll have to get that reset since I now have an OEM wheel. Just had me curious what and why it took a certain time to blow that fuse. I drove it 3mi, let it run for more than an hour combined and it hasn't blown. I'm not getting my hopes up, but so far so good.

Backside of the fuse box? I have not. It still hasn't blown the fuse.
