I might have a spot open, as I'm almost certain that my girlfriend won't be able to make it. I'm currently assigned to a 2-bed room.

 

Please include me in any private messages that deal with the selling of spots on this trip. I want to be in the loop so I can update my records.

Also, if you signed up with a +1 and you are thinking about taking a different car on the trip please let me know. Just shoot me a message saying hey change of plans, we plan on taking my +1's (car here). I want records of the cars for the contact list. I have heard rumors a few times about so and so coming on the trip and taking their car now and I would appreciate being respected as the organizer and told of these plans instead of hearing it through the grapevine. Last year I had a few people decide last minute to just join the trip without asking me until the day of and minutes before the group left, and I would appreciate not being put in a position like that again this year. If you and your car arent registered with me beforehand, you arent going! SO if you are changing vehicles, I want/need updated contact information and car information.

Might sound like I am being a jerk, but I have spent countless hours this year planning this trip and I have done everything I can to be accommodating and fair. I request that people do the same in return and show some respect.

Thank you everybody for keeping me in the loop on some of the changes/updates. I am glad we were able to make everything go smoothly.

Mark, I really hope you can get a definite answer on your GF soon. The trip is just around the corner and I fear that you might get stuck having paid for two spots and coming alone. I would hate to see that happen and it would be great to sell your extra spot if we need to. That said though, I do not have anyone on the waiting list currently.

Good news! My girlfriend told me that she is looking at flights to come out, so her spot is not available for sale any longer. I was hoping for that slim chance that her work schedule would allow her to travel and it looks like it's a go for us.
