Default AP1 Bumper Holes

Hey guys, so I currently have my bumper off putting in Rick's Smoked diffusers. I have always really wanted take out those plugs in the bumper on either side of an AP1. Now that the bumper is off I see it is actually built in and was considering using a dremel to cut em out. Also noticed there are some tabs on the inside of the bumper which seem like a perfect mounting point for some dryer hose to route air somewhere useful. I would assume I am not the first to come up with this, what have people heard being done before. The passenger side I would love to route it up to just blow some cool air up towards my FIPK, any ideas for the driver side? Opinions?

Ohhhh, I really like that one. I don't understand why he needed the donor bumper tho....I think I might do something similar except on my original bumper just cutting out holes. Which actually got me thinking I should just fab up a quick mold and throw together some fiberglass pieces to route the air. I will see what I can throw together tomorrow but I finished the headlights so I wanna get the car back together, it might have to wait for another free weekend

He used the donor bumper to make the vents. The part he ended up painting silver came from the donor bumper.

Yea I saw that, but aside from the look of having it protrude from the bumper I don't see why its necessary. I suppose he coulda just been doing it for the look but I would rather just do the exact same thing on the stock bumper know what I'm sayin?

Yeah, I hear ya. Was a bit to early this morning when I posted before. I bet he did it for the look.

Are you the guy I met at the autocross that lives in WLR? If so, I saw you pulling out by the mailroom the other day. Exhaust sounded nice.
