I'm trying to check to see if I have it still babe. I'm just down a car right now while we play with some stuff in the Evo so it's taking me a couple extra days. Bear with me!!

Is there a way to pull the A/C compressor and use a shorter belt to bypass it? This way you could still drive it until you found a replacement?

well bryan... after ur suggestion, i did a lil more thorough search on s2kca, s2ki and various autox websites... and since the cr does the same thing where it utilizes a shorter belt effectively deleting the a/c compressor, that woul dbe my best bet... i'll be able to do more once i get the car back on monday.

I hope it works out for you. The only thing worse than not having A/C is not being able to drive the car.

good news and bad news

good news: i recieved a fone call from superior honda and theyve figured our the problem *whoop-ti-doo* the compressor has seized up. and theyre caling honda of america tomorrow morning for the 'good-will' thing

bad news: it's going to cost $3498.97 ... can u say deposit for another car?

... if i dont hear what i wanna hear tomorrow from honda of america. i will fight fight and fight some more. and in the end if it still doesnt work out the way i want it to, i will remove all of the a/c components and go honda cr style FOREVER!

wish me luck
