Did not get a chance to check with them today on the status of my car. Even though I have had to return three times for the same problem, I do not feel they are "giving me the run around". They want it fixed also. They have their best mechanic on it. Hopefully it will not be long. One thing that has always impressed me, is that they never try to sell you something you do not need, like other dealers I have dealt with in the past.

Reasons They Let Me Have A Loaner Car:
1. I am sexy. The fastest way to keep women from flocking into the dealership and clogging up the flow of traffic is to get me in a loaner car and out of there.
2. I am a "CHAMPEEN HYPNOTIST". You are getting very sleepy........now you want to give me a loaner car........
3. I take my 6 year old twins in with me and let them play in the service area. Later in the lounge area, I get them to lie in the floor and kick and scream.
4. I lie in the floor and kick and scream.
5. I hooked them up with black market eyewear, contact lenses, etc.
6. I am sexy. The fastest way to keep women.... oh, sorrry already covered this.

OK - The Real Reasons They Let Me Have A Loaner Car:
1. This is not the first car I have bought from them.
2. I do all my service work with them.
3. S2000s stand out in a small town.
4. When I purchased the car, the sales manager told me a loaner would be no problem, if I needed one. My two offices are 40 miles apart (I live between them), and although I do not often have to see a patient at night, it is not uncommon to have to see one very early in the morning. Got to be sure I can get there.
5. The service department at Honda of Brookhaven is staffed with really nice people. Marty is the service manager and is always courteous and professional.
6. I never ask for a loaner, if I can keep from it. I try to do maintainence work on Saturday mornings and I wait on the car. You can make an appointment with them and you usually get in and out quickly.

Man, I miss my car. Going to check on it in the morning. What a beautiful day it was to day. I am starting to have insane daydreams of taking a torch and removing the loaner accord's top.

i don't think they'd like that... plus, it might hurt the handling of the Accord...

Got it back Saturday morning, left dealership and didn't notice the CEL was on! They close at noon on Saturdays, so it was to late to return it. Took it back yesterday and assumed loaner car status again. Hoping to find out something today.
