Need Advice on A/C diffuculty
How many days or weeks has your car spent in the shop?
I loved my S2000 and still want another one but the poor thing spent more time in the shop than any other car I've ever owned. Even more than my "lemon" 1985 Corvette. Honda was nice enough to keep me in loaners but they weren't fun to drive.

wow - 10 weeks?!
i think in the past 2 years since i got my S, it has spent a total of maybe 5 days in the shop. 1 day for clutch (TSB/Hondacare), 1.5 days for the new top (Honda courtesy), 1 day for the rear CV joints (Hondacare), and .5 days for the window regulator (Hondacare). it's going to have to go back for the window regulator (Hondacare) again tho... then, throw in some oil changes, alignments, etc. it's been a very reliable car for me, and i've put 30k miles on it in that time.
i can't imagine 10 weeks in the shop.

So far I have only had mine in for the TSB's. Honestly... this has been the best mechanically sound car I have ever driven. The worst thing that has happened is the stupid driver side window bug. Where it won't go down when you lower the top. That is the worst problem I have ever had.
My car was a very low VIN 2000 model built in Sept. of 99. It had a few bugs that needed to be worked out. I doubt I can remember all of them but here's a start: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear sets. Rear differential. Clutch. MAP. Belts.... I know there was more and they wouldn't fix the top for me ven though the rear window was a mess when I bought the car new. The 2nd owner of the car has had the tranny done again twice I think. The clutch again, and they replaced the top for him. He also had bolts loosen and fall out of the tranny which caused some problems.
I loved the car but it wasn't up to normal Honda quality standards. Compared to the Miata that I had before the S2000 that I had no problems with in 98,000 miles I drove the Honda like a 95 year old granny.
