Honda: Super GT 2010
A fair amount of news has already been published about this, but here it is again for S2ki Oz: Honda revives their aborted V10 GT sports car for racing in the Japanese Super GT. They've entered the HSV-010 to satisfy the new Super GT regulations which prohibit all mid-engined cars, meaning they can no longer use the NSX.

Honda HSV-010 GT ready for Super GT
Although the aborted GT production car was supposed to be a V10, the engine in the Super GT entrant is apparently based on the HR09E - a 3.4L V8 Honda uses in Formula Nippon that will be limited to 500hp. Here's a recent clip of Honda testing the HSV-010 at Suzuka.
Sounds and looks bloody unreal.

Very nice sounds like a F1 car, you cant tell me they wont make road going versions of this...they have too!
the NSX was a great car, but not too many people we willing to pay $200k+ for one. But then again it can be a low volume production run.
What do you guys think of the styling ? Supercar presences ?

Having said that, for a company like Honda, these kind of cars aren't really meant to make them much money, if any. Perhaps that presents the greatest argument against making a production run for Honda in its current guise of a green whitegoods manufacturer.
Well, I reckon it looks great - definitely better than a glorified beetle.
