No no I'm not kidding and its not old either I saw it on the news yesterday China made a copy of the ipad using googles android OS =).

heres the link: http://www.news.com.au/technology/ipad/wor...y-1225874244075

Sorry Aus to confuse you. (should have posted the link the first time round.)
I'm telling you these copies are 2nd to none these days. My friend bought an iPhone copy from china and my god couldn't tell the dfference until you started using it and with all these skin apps floating around you'd have no problems!

Sorry guys when it comes to techs and gadgets I have to read it. (part of my job)
I have too much internet time @ work

I am aware of the iped.

I was confused by Adrenalin's post. I guess he could be referring to pediatrics, the branch of medicine concerned with infants. Although PED is mostly associated with pedophilia these days. I'm thinking it may be marketed as the ideal stalking device.

So, back on topic, have you made the hi-tech velcro mount in the S yet Aus?

Lol, resistance is futile!

I just bought the wifi model. At the moment what is required to share your iPhone's 3G connection is that you jailbreak the iPhone and download 'myfi'. This sets it up as a 3G to wifi router. Then connect the iPad to the iPhone as such over wifi.

I'll get around to doing it as soon as I can think of a reason to take the iPad out of the house.

Nah, I bought Microsoft brand Velcro. Both sides are fuzzy to avoid nasty hook injuries. Doesn't hold real well though.

Apple today presented the new iPhone 4 featuring FaceTime, which makes the dream of video calling a reality, and Apple’s stunning new Retina display, the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, resulting in super crisp text, image, and video. In addition, iPhone 4 features a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording, Apple’s A4 processor, a 3-axis gyro, and up to 40 percent longer talk time — in a beautiful all-new design of glass and stainless steel that is the thinnest smartphone in the world. iPhone 4 comes with iOS 4, the newest version of the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, which includes over 100 new features and 1500 new APIs for developers.

OMG What a phone! after I saw it today I'm slowly inclined to buy. (This is coming from an anti Iphone user) ahhhhh Trying to resist but.... the impulse buyer in me is screaming "BUY IT!" hmmm come to think of it wouldn't an iphone mounted in an S be more proportional? =) just while I'm here guys I have an Ipod connector to my stereo in the S; is the connection to an Iphone the same?? just wondering coz I never used one, let alone even touch it.

Thanks Guys.

It is the similar and music played on your iPhone will be heard on your stereo.

The problem is that iPod connections manufactured prior to the iPhone 3G will not charge it. Many manufacturer after the 3G have been made to charge the iPhone and will be sold as such.
