Yeah but I'm sure 3.0 will be JB in just a few hours following... But there is less of an incentive to JB now since 3.0 fixes up most of what was missing, unless you're into customising, etc.
Anyway, if you had waited until 3.13am you would have got the new firmware.
Twitter went mad with over 4000 tweets every 10 seconds on the minutes leading up to the update. Forums went crazy and Apple site crashed. Firmware 3.0 nearly broke the internet.

 

Everytime you do an update your Jailbreaking is over written. So you have to Jailbreak again.

I know that the Jailbreakers aren't far behind in their updates so you can decide whether or not to update yet.

I know I only Jailbreaked my phone for MMS and Cut/Copy/Paste and as these are native in 3.0 I'm updating as I type.

However I will miss xGPS until I jailbreak again.

 

I'm quite enamoured by Apple and decided to get a new Macbook Pro. After an initial WTF phase of 30 minutes, I'm now loving OS X and the whole way it operates. I can't go back to Windows now. It just seems clunky and dumb by comparison. I'm running Fusion which lets me operate XP while I'm at work though.

Any widgets, apps or tips I should be aware of as a new user from other Mac users?

i recall seeing a "Iphone mini" in Thailand, not sure if it was an actual apple product or some sort of cheap rip off .

Also, just saw on the apple website the Iphone 3GS . anyone upgrading ?

 

I'm pretty sure it's not an Apple product. Apple aren't known for keeping new products hush hush and test marketing them through Thai hawkers markets.
