That's odd, as I've been hearing many Optus places are not guaranteeing an iPhone at this point as they may have taken too many pre-deposits to fulfill.

Either way I need to find out what Telstra's plans are going to be since they are the only ones who provide service to the places I frequent.

Hehe.. I guess you already made up your mind about a carrier.

Seriously though, I need to decide between Telstra/Optus... how often do you have dead spots with Optus?

I only see dead spots with Optus here in Melbourne if I am going out to wineries which are a bit far out. My concern was what if there was an honest emergency and I don't have reception.

Well Optus didn't over bill me $40K over 3 years so they are my preferred vendor.

seems like a pretty valid reason. maybe the $59/capped plan will have to do. lol.

Hong Kong got their iPhone 3G released early today (unofficially). Only 500 were allocated for the entire region apparently. Some unscrupulous resellers are selling them for HK$20,000 each, that's around few grand aussie dollars!!!

Hehe, I'll pass and wait for it if that were the case here.

I have no deposit, but I'm gonna try to get it on Friday. If not, I'll wait a few weeks. No biggie.

I can't wait! Only one more sleep. I haven't been this excited since they released the Newton.

LOL

Q: How many Newtons does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: Foux! There to eat lemons, axe gravy soup.
