Default S2K on a T3 lane

hi guys ... just wondering if we have a full car (driver and passenger), are we legally allowed to drive in the T3 lanes?

i personally think we should be able to since its legally impossible to fit 3 people in our car, but i havent had the guts to actually try it in fear of demerit points and a fine.

so anyone been pulled over in a T3 lane with your car full?

I don't reckon it'd fly with the police if you tried it. If it was legal, you'd be seeing a barrage of utes flying through.

Check with the RTA. After all bikes are allowed in bus lanes so its not always hard and fast though it is different since the car is still the same size as one that'll carry 3 or more.

T3s are about encouraging people to use cars efficiently. Just by buying an S2000 we have thrown that out the window.

So no, no S2000s in the T3 lane.

What if you were a gangster or hitman had a dismembered body in the trunk?

haha. I remember reading in the paper sometime that a lady got booked for driving in a t2 lane, and her excuse was that she was pregnant.

What if you were driving a hearse??
