AP1 / AP2 Headlamp jets - HELP!
Hi Guys,
I just had an AP2 front bumper installed onto my AP1
The body shop wouldn't bog the holes (dont know why
) so i've had to obviously order the headlamp jets to fit onto the AP2
I know the AP1 jets sit in the holes OK, but other than the AP2 jets being colour coded, is there any difference? are they smaller, or different shape?
Costing $140.00 each jet, and i have them disconnected anyway :|
Alternatively, would another body shop bog the holes (4 holes about 10cm each) would they have to repaint the whole bumper? The bumper has just been freshly painted, new from Honda.
cheers,
Dave

I just had another look and it seems that the AP2 jets sit flat on the ledge under the lights, whereas the AP1 used to sit on an angle, so they dont sit flush on the AP2 bumper unless held down some with pressure...
How did you color code your AP1 jets? the body shop did it?

Oh ok, great - so they sit flush on the ledge under the headlamps?
Looking at the photos on the net of Ap2s, the jets do look smaller but perhaps cause they are color coded. Probably not worth the $280 in any case
thanks,

Good news - the bottom half of the AP1 jets is actually a fat rubber piece that just pulls of, so the AP1 jets are now half the size, and flat on the bottom.
Looks good, i think for $280.00 i'll live with black jets for now
