Default Being an Australian car enthusiast !?*#!

Perhaps it's not the best thing for my second post on this forum but still… the steam has to come out somewhere!!

I love cars... I LOOOVE my S2000 but is just seems harder and harder to get decent parts in Australia

I just spent ages trying to get some shinetsu grease for pity sake! Grease! After having rung all the honda dealers in my local area (looking for convenience & speed) I finally gave up and tried online… no shipping to Australia… finally I have an ebay special from O/S but does it really have to be this hard - it's only grease?!? I can buy shoes, handbags and clothes with the greatest of ease!!!

Now that I have had it for a couple of months it's time for shocks, brakes, tyres (currently on eco tyres!) and all the fun goodies that I used to love doing as a car modder… now I'm just depressed about it 'cause it just becomes so much hard work with so many of the items that get reviewed well in forums only available overseas (unless you have the elaborate postal arrangements set up, with associated costs). This is such a great car, it seems like such a shame to have to compromise just because some crummy supplier agreements. And Honda Australia… well if I sell my organs to buy the parts I won't live long enough to enjoy them

Good thing the drive is worth it!!!

There is always a cost to owning such a great car.

If you want some lube for your rubbers:

Oh, and most pool shops sell a white silicone based lubricant (for connecting pool plumbing) that works well on window seals.

Thanks for that, will give them a try!

I think I will have to adapt to become master of the alternative option… or else plan my next holiday overseas to the US and take empty luggage
