Hey guys, just wondering when indy yellow first became an available color in the S2000? & also what r the differnces between 99, 00, 01 & 02 models if any?

I believe yellow came out in 01 and to get the full list of differences you'll have to search.

can confirm its 2001.

and i think it is officially called Indy yellow for the Australian market.

There was a difference in the yellow's also.

The difference in the yellows came in 04 when they released Rio yellow in the states. Not sure if we got that

just checked honda australia website, its still listed as Indy yellow.

It's Indy Yellow and was named for the 2001 Indy on the Gold Coast. It is the same yellow as in the US at the time which is called Spa after the Spa Francochamps track.

2001 was the first year for yellow in Aus. I ordered my S in late 99 and yellow was my first preference but it wasn't available for MY2000.

Thanks for that guys. So being the 2001 model it wont have the glass rear window will it?

Not unless it is a 2002 spec (MY02) car that was first registered in 2001.
