Mind you , I hear that on the Armidale run it started to self distruct and shed bits of body kit for no apparent reason.
A piece of trim that clips onto the outside of the A-pillar came loose. It looked odd without it, but it was just cosmetic. Not quite as serious as effectively 3 engine failures That AMG is bloody fast. I remember being at the top of VTEC in 3rd and having him come blasting past like I was standing still. Scary! It must have been revenge for the go-kart day

Funny this oil use thing. My car doesn't use any at all. I suppose I'm just lucky (or the new owner will be )

Well i must say mine does burn oil, especially when driven hard, and i was told by the service manager when i got the car that " they burn oil". My previous Type R burnt oil also - im getting a bit worried , think i might start documenting oil usage and inform Honda just to be on the safe side.
Naishou im very suprised yours doesnt drink oil

You can't burn much oil if you don't drive it. What's your mileage Naishou? Reached 8K yet?

Over 10k thankyou It's had two track days and the Armidale run, which was insane. I think it was more or less constantly in VTEC for the whole drive except the freeway sections. When I got home I put 200ml of oil in it, but I don't think the level had actually gone down, I just hadn't filled it right to the top on the recent change. I'm sure it uses oil as all cars do, just no more than average and not really noticeable over my 3000km change intervals.
