8 - I repeat 8, not 7, 8.

It will not come out if you only remove 7.

And it will come off if you use 4. See Flywheel thread.

I had it rebuilt and I noticed the shoes don't have much meat on them.

So far it been easy to drive but a little hard to get into gear (particularly reverse) when stationary. I expect it has a little drag but will run in shortly.

As far as driving is concerned it doesn't feel much different to my uprated stock clutch.

However I did have a situation where I put some stress on it at Beave's place. We were washing my car (yes, pick yourself up off the floor) and he has a steep ramp in his garage. When I go to the bottom we decided to go the other way rather than scrape the hell out of my car so I had to reverse up the slope. At partial clutch it seemed a bit jittery and obviously got something of a work out but felt fine afterwards.
Yeah the clutch is ok to drive.... Hill starts were probably the worst...... I had to just dump it as it doesnt slip.... Mind you awesome for those hardcore launches.... Probably why I wore it out so fast.

Ah Aus washed his car.................... NOW I KNOW WHY THE DROUGHT WAS BROKEN................

After many weeks of waiting finally drove the car with the exedy clutch installed.

Well... what can I say I stalled it the moment I got out

The engagement point is much much lower than it was with the factory clutch so I think i will need some time to get used to it. The new engagement point would be around 1/4 up from fully pressed!

Other than the change in engagement point the clutch has some lee way in slipping but the thing just grips on for dear life so with me not being used to the whole clutch yet my car is slightly jerky when taking off and changing gears

Also the pedal feel? Actually feels the same or actually more lighter

Ill post more opinions once i get the clutch bedded in!

vgss2k, you can adjust the engagement point at the pedal. It's quite easy to do. Just make sure you have some small slack in the whole system after adjustment.
