Its time to go "S2K"
Hi guys
im not proud to say that i have decided to let the S2K go to a lucky buyer.
Ive fallen into a ditch of other financial commitements and so on and its difficult to maintain the "S" during this period.
Sadly she was put up for sale last firiday, although ive started receiving a fair amount of calls and of course really dramatically low offers, its still progressing.
heres my ad [Carsales Ad]
this is for a few that have never seen it as i havent been able to make it to meets and cruises.
hopefully it goes to a good home and i have taken enough pictures for good old memories.
alot has been put it i cant make back in it but i hope its appreciation and credit the new owner will give this car for its work and quality.
no other car is in mind as my next car is budgeted to 10k max to cover the rest on my loans and so on.
there will be no parting whatsoever so she goes with all oem and aftermarket goodies to the new owner
Cheers

Good luck with the sale - Vuey sold his blinged up S2k for a good price so you should go alright.
One quick question I have - Did you ever have a budgeted plan for all your mods?

well considering the amount spent on the S2000 and the optional extras i got with it
the asking price is not too bad.
beaves, unfortunately i never budgetted my mods, it was idea after idea after idea.

Ahh, there is nothing like good planning...
and this is nothing like good planning.
I can't help thinking this is a For Sale ad by a non-member. Then I read the asking price of $42K for a 99 with 105K on it and realised you're just trying to convince yourself you should keep it.

Any chance you could put a price next to every mod you have on the car sub total it, then add in the labour costs, then add the price you paid for your car anbd then arrive at a total - don't forget the cost of those horrific rims you had on for a week.

there will be no parting whatsoever
Every dollar you spend on mods REDUCES the value of your car by a dollar in the eyes of prospective buyers.
Even the hard top would be much better sold separately for $2000.
You can take my word for this or you can keep up the entertainment.
