New Speakers

My advice is don't run good speakers without an amp. The reason is that good speakers have bigger magnets and require more power for the same sound level. The stock head unit is pretty puny, but you can turn it up. Only problem is that when you turn it up you drastically increse the distortion level, and it's distortion that blows speakers, not watts.

Some decent consumer grade speakers make a big improvement in the S. Anything more and I'd suggest an amp and speakers if not a whole headunit as well.

Thanks Aus2000. Very good point. I am not putting amp in so any recommendations?

Yeah, just some cheap $100-200 co-axials from an audio store.
