The tyres on the yellow - what brand as they don't look like the OEM S02s?

No not Falkens but Bridgestone RE540 racing wet weather tyres (minimal tread but not slicks).

They were giving our friend Tony a good 3 sec advantage over other S2ks on the day.

I assume these are for track only not his normal road tyres?

Yes track tyres only, I do not know if they rate as street legal. I assume the cost would mean you would not to use for daily driving. He got a 2nd pair of rims for the track rubber. The tyres took aver 3 seconds off his lap time and took the terminal speed on the straight from just over 200 to 215.

The Bridgestones are legal for road use - if you can stand the noise, let alone the wear!
