FA is right, but he talks too much.

================

I'm new to this racing forum (not to F1) so forgive me if I'm mischaracterizing the general sediment around here, but it really seems to me that there is a lot of calling for Nick Fry's head, and that many weren't fond of David Richards.

Excuse me my friends, but did we learn nothing from the absurd revolving door manager position at Jaguar? What succeeds in F1 is STABILITY. It takes time to establish a system and built it up. Look at all the top teams, they weren't born overnight, they evolved (even Renault, who of course was Benneton, just a few years removed from back-to-back championships).

Shaking things up might seem desirable when things are not going well, but the reality is it means starting over.

Honda is simply not ready to win a championship, they haven't won a bloody race since the 80s!!! (Minus a fluke Mugen Jordan win or two)

Be patient, their time will come.

I hear ya, and I agree.

They really need to hurry up and get there though...

Both BAR drivers were looking good at Silverstone on Wednesday when the teams were testing this week. Problem seems to be that they screw up their form with bad strategy during the race.

I hope like hell Acura kicks some serious but in ALMS, I so want to support Honda and their racing efforts, and I just can't bring myself to do it right now in F1.
I'm beginning to agree; Honda F1 had better start getting some podiums and I don't care which driver does it

I don't get into the politics of it like a lot of you guys in here, and don't follow the inside scoops so much, all I know is Honda is not winning and honestly is no excuse by looking at most of their practice sessions. They just need to quit making excuses and pick up the pace. I love Honda but they are getting their asses handed to them on a silver platter this year when they were suppose to be competing for a title.. yea right..

Well said!!!

When Honda pulled out of F1 in '93 I was so sad, and later in the '90s when they decided to come back I was so excited. Below is the Honda I remember, not the Honda we see today...

When the decision to pull out was made Honda was in a situation in which it had dominated Formula 1 racing, winning six consecutive Constructors' Championships and taking its drivers Nelson Piquet, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost to five consecutive titles between 1987 and 1991. The McLaren-Honda relationship (between 1988 and 1992) resulted in 41 victories in 74 races with a record-breaking 15 wins in 16 races in 1988.
